CSA Construction Manager
A leading international general contractor is actively recruiting a CSA Construction Manager for a new data centre project in Northumberland. As CSA Manager you will be a key delivery leader in this field on site reporting directly to the Project Manager. This contractor specialises in the delivery of complex data centre, pharmaceutical, commercial projects throughout Europe.
In terms of experience, someone coming from a data centre background is advantageous however not a necessity. Project delivery ability, proven track record, commercial awareness and people management ability is key.
With a steady pipeline of work for the coming years, it is an exciting time to be joining this contractor.

The ideal candidate ideally will have a proven track record of managing large scale data centre or life sciences projects on time and within budget, but candidates with a strong commercial or industrial background will also be considered.
Construction Manager Key Responsibilities
- Manage all Civil, Structural and Architectural packages on site
- Familiarity with and management of Project Schedule in conjunction with other trades and Package Leads.
- Attendance at Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning and Co-ordination Meetings and Handover Meetings where required.
- Close out of all project items including O & M Manuals, Health & Safety File, QA File – all with the support of the Supervisors and Engineers
- Manage Temporary Works

Construction Manager Key Requirements
- Previous experience on similar large-scale projects
- Main contracting experience
- Experienced in design and build
- Ability to work well within strict deadlines
- Ability to drive a large-scale project
- Data centre experience is desirable but not a necessity
- Temporary works experience
- Engineering background desirable
