Job Title: Senior Civils Quality Engineer

Location: Teesside (Site-Based)

Employment Type: Contract

About You

As a Senior Civils Quality Engineer, you will assist the Quality Manager in ensuring that the quality team performs their duties to a high standard and aid the team in any areas that require support. The Senior Civils Quality Engineer will monitor and verify all activities involved with project quality, in order to ensure that activities are being performed comply with the Company contractual stipulations, the Project Quality Plans, and the range of associated plans and procedures that govern work on the project covering all disciplines.

About the Role

  • Act as a focal point for all quality/inspection activities involved with the contractor and sub-contractors
  • Assist the Quality Manager with the preparation of the governing plans and procedures that are required to control quality on the Project
  • Conduct internal and external, technical reviews and audits on quality systems and processes, as advised by the Project Quality Manager, following the approved schedule, or at a time when it is considered that such reviews are necessary
  • Complete onsite surveillance activities in support of the designated Third-Party inspectors as required, to ensure that processes governed by procedure are being upheld and the correct level of workmanship is being achieved
  • Ensure that accountability for the Project Final Data Dossiers is monitored closely and will play an extensive role in the review and approval process
  • Ensure full collaboration between the Construction Management teams and work closely with the relevant Facility Contractors Management and Supervision
