Teamforce Labour are currently seeking an experienced Civils Site Engineer for an immediate start in Acton, West London.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading civil engineering contractor on a major infrastructure project.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering works safely, accurately and to programme.
Start: Immediate
Duration: Ongoing
Rate: Negotiable (Dependent on Experience)
Role & Responsibilities
- Set out and survey civil engineering works, ensuring accuracy at all stages of the project.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and site plans.
- Oversee the installation of drainage, utilities, foundations, ducting, concrete works and earthworks.
- Produce and maintain accurate site records, as-built surveys and quality assurance documentation.
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with project specifications and health & safety requirements.
- Liaise with the Site Manager, Project Manager, subcontractors and client representatives.
- Monitor progress and identify any engineering or technical issues, providing practical solutions.
- Coordinate with site teams to ensure works are delivered on programme and to the required quality standards.
- Support the management of temporary works and ensure compliance with project procedures.

Requirements
- Previous experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering or major infrastructure projects.
- Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering.
- Proficient in the use of surveying equipment, including Leica or Trimble instruments.
- Strong understanding of setting out, quality assurance and engineering documentation.
- CSCS Card (Essential).
- SMSTS or SSSTS (Desirable).
- Full UK driving licence (Desirable).
- Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
