About The Role

Civils Sites Supervisor

Working hours: Full time 37 hours per week (flexible working arrangements including part time will be considered)

Permanent

Salary: from £43,010 to £50,600 per year (depending on experience)

Location: Washington, Tyne and Wear

In line with delivery against our company vision to be the national leader in sustainable water and wastewater services, this role forms part of the scale in investment required. It will underpin the ambition to expand the delivery eco-system approach and drive lean and agile project delivery.

As part of the Integrated Design and Delivery team, the Civils Site Supervisor will manage a portfolio of schemes. They will liaise with key project stakeholders, Project Managers, and engineering personnel, to define the best technical and TOTEX solution. To ensure that designs can be constructed efficiently by influencing, and guiding stakeholders and framework partners, as well as direct delivery of projects. Managing operational and/or customer interfaces will be key to the successful delivery of project outcomes, as will competent execution of qualifications to ensure compliance with all relevant SHE regulations (such as temporary works etc).

This is a pivotal role which will lead and supervise Framework partners pre & post construction, as well as through the delivery stage. As such leadership and matrix management will underpin successful project delivery. In addition, the role will support the technical development and training of the broader Civils team by mentoring and coaching apprentices or junior members of the team.


About You

If you have a track record in delivering construction/civils projects, we want to hear from you.

  • You will have a good technical knowledge of standards and specifications and comprehensive knowledge of CDM and the roles and responsibilities of the principle contractor and principle designer.
  • You will have good communication skills and the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders internally and externally, with the ability to review and comment on contractors RAMS and experience in managing contractors.
  • A Full valid UK class B+E driving licence will be required in this role.
