Claims Account Manager

Chester – 37.5 hours a week (Monday – Friday, Full Time)

£26,000

At Proximo, the UK’s leading provider of specialist and adapted replacement vehicles, we are dedicated to keeping people on the move. When vehicles are out of action, we step in to provide replacements, ensuring our customers maintain their independence and mobility.

We’re now recruiting for a Claims Account Manager. This is a varied role where you’ll help customers through the claims process, from the first instruction through to recovering costs. You’ll be part of our Credit Hire Division, working with care, accuracy, and a problem-solving mindset. If you’ve worked in a customer-facing or phone-based role before and enjoy getting into the detail, this could be a great next step.

What you’ll be doing

  • Be the first point of contact for customers who have been involved in an accident, gathering the information we need and recording it accurately.
  • Review accident details to understand liability and identify the at-fault party.
  • Keep in regular contact with customers once they have their hire vehicle, making sure they’re supported throughout.
  • Complete final invoices at the end of the hire period and update our internal systems.
  • Work with insurers to settle liability and cost disputes.
  • Recover hire vehicle costs from third-party insurance companies.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
