Description

That’s why we’ve built a powerhouse in-house claims team—driven, highly qualified, and laser-focused on delivering fast, effective solutions for our clients. Our claims handlers are true experts, bringing specialist, real-world experience that’s directly relevant to the people we serve.

Now, our innovative Emerging Risk Team is on the lookout for an experienced Claims Adjuster to help us raise the bar even higher. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our policyholders, brokers, underwriters, and capacity providers receive the exceptional service we’re known for. This is your chance to work side-by-side with talented colleagues across Claims, Underwriting, Finance, IT, and Products, all while navigating the cutting edge of the insurance industry.


About the Role

As a Claims Adjuster at CFC, you’ll be the reassuring voice and steady hand guiding clients through the claims process. You’ll lead fair settlements, champion customer service, and help us set new standards for excellence.

What You’ll Do:

  • Ensure our claims department continues to deliver outstanding TPA services for capacity providers, always upholding Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) and Conduct Risk principles.
  • Proactively manage claims from first notification of loss to settlement, analysing coverage, legal liability, and quantum within delegated authorities.
  • Build strong relationships with policyholders, brokers, underwriters, and capacity providers—delivering a customer experience that sets us apart.
  • Guarantee prompt, accurate reserving, pursue third-party recoveries, and minimize claims leakage.
  • Identify and escalate key issues to the Emerging Risks Claims Manager and Claims Director as needed.
  • Support the Emerging Risks Claims Manager, Claims Director, and the wider claims team, collaborating closely with underwriters and providing valuable feedback on claims trends and product development.

About You

We’re looking for a passionate claims professional with a background in broking or underwriting within the Lloyd’s/London market. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to grow with a forward-thinking team, we want to hear from you!

You’ll Bring:

  • CII qualification (or working towards it)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A confident grasp of insurance policy wordings across multiple territories
  • Experience with ECF (a strong advantage)
