We're working with a growing specialist insurer seeking a Claims Adjuster to join its collaborative claims team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with London Market experience who is looking to further develop their expertise in Marine claims while also gaining exposure to other specialty classes.
You'll be responsible for handling a varied portfolio of claims from first notification through to settlement, ensuring each claim is managed efficiently. The role offers broad exposure, working alongside underwriters, brokers, loss adjusters and legal advisers to deliver positive outcomes for clients and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of Marine and specialty claims through the full claims lifecycle.
- Assessing policy coverage, liability and quantum to determine appropriate claims outcomes.
- Setting and reviewing reserves, authorising payments and maintaining accurate claims records.
- Working closely with brokers, insureds and external experts to investigate and resolve claims efficiently.
- Identifying recovery and subrogation opportunities where appropriate.
- Providing claims insight to underwriting teams and contributing to portfolio reviews and market discussions.
- Supporting process improvements and helping shape a high-performing claims function.

We're keen to speak with candidates who have London Market claims experience, with exposure to Marine business. You'll have strong technical judgement, excellent stakeholder management skills and a proactive approach to problem solving. Experience of subscription market claims, ECF or delegated authority arrangements would be beneficial but is not essential.
