Role Description
The Claims Advisor is a full-time hybrid role based in Lytham St Anne’s, with the flexibility to work from home for part of the week. In this role, the Claims Advisor will manage and progress insurance claims from first notification through to settlement, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for clients. - Gathering and reviewing documentation
- Liaising with insurers and third parties
- Keeping clients informed at each stage

The role also involves:
- Providing clear guidance on policy coverage
- Identifying potential risks or issues
- Maintaining accurate records in line with regulatory and company standards
The Claims Advisor will work closely with colleagues across the brokerage to deliver consistent, client-focused claims support.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including the ability to explain complex information clearly and manage sensitive client conversations.
- Practical Claims Handling skills, including assessing circumstances, gathering evidence, and guiding claims to resolution.
- Claims Management skills, such as monitoring claim progress, coordinating with stakeholders, and maintaining accurate case files.
- Knowledge of Insurance principles and products, enabling confident discussions of coverage, exclusions, and policy conditions.
- Expertise in Insurance Claims processes, including regulatory considerations and best practices for fair outcomes.
- Relevant experience in an insurance, brokerage, or financial services environment is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency with office and claims management software are advantageous.
- Professional qualifications in insurance (such as CII or equivalent) or a willingness to work toward them are preferred.
