The Role

As a Claims Handler, you'll be a key point of contact for customers, supporting them throughout the claims process and ensuring they receive a professional, empathetic and efficient service from start to finish.

Working alongside an experienced team, you'll manage claims, communicate with customers and third parties, maintain accurate records and ensure each case is progressed effectively. You'll also have the opportunity to develop your knowledge and build a long term career within a professional financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage claims from initial notification through to resolution
  • Build positive relationships with customers and relevant third parties
  • Keep customers informed throughout the claims journey, providing an excellent level of service at every stage
  • Handle enquiries professionally and ensure queries are resolved efficiently
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation
  • Progress claims efficiently while following company procedures and compliance requirements
  • Liaise with relevant parties to obtain information and ensure claims are progressed promptly
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver the best possible customer experience

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has previous claims handling experience or comes from a strong customer service background with a genuine interest in developing a career within financial services
  • Is bubbly, personable and confident communicating with a wide range of people
  • Has a positive attitude and is keen to learn and develop new skills
  • Is organised, proactive and able to manage a varied workload
  • Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in getting things right
  • Takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships
  • Works well as part of a supportive team and enjoys a collaborative environment
  • Is looking for a long-term opportunity with a business that will invest in their development
