Are you a natural problem-solver who thrives on turning a stressful situation into a smooth resolution? 4th Dimension Innovation is looking for a CMT Claims Handler to join our Claims Management Team in Egham Thorpe, helping riders get back on the road with confidence.
You'll report to the CMT Team Leader, managing a caseload of motorcycle claims from first contact through to settlement β keeping things moving, keeping customers informed, and keeping our claims philosophy front and center.
Main Duties
- Manage a caseload of First Party and Third Party claims, progressing each case towards settlement
- Respond promptly to incoming calls, emails and letters in the way that best moves the claim forward
- Screen incoming claims against fraud indicators and risk factors, escalating for further investigation where needed
- Use desktop tools (MIAFTR, CUE, MID, DVLA, etc.) to support claims decisions
- Liaise with specialist suppliers such as field investigators and engineers
- Update reserves and NCB at the appropriate stage of each claim
- Work within agreed personal authority limits, referring upwards where activity exceeds them
- Offer customers alternatives to claiming directly from their policy where commercially appropriate

- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly at all levels
- Ability to make complex issues simple for customers

The Essentials
- π Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Hybrid working β 3 days onsite, 2 days from home β following an initial 4β6 week on-site training period
- π· Salary: Β£24,500βΒ£26,000
