Company Description

Car Call provides comprehensive post-accident support for drivers involved in non-fault incidents, helping to reduce stress and complexity after a collision. Customers benefit from no excess charges and protection of their no-claims bonus, as claims are not made through their own insurer. The company offers free legal advice for any injury or discomfort, including recovery of out-of-pocket expenses and medical costs. Car Call arranges vehicle collection, comparable replacement cars, and repairs at approved centres to ensure a “good as new” standard. Throughout the process, trained claims management specialists keep customers informed, aiming to minimize the impact of a stressful event.

Role Description

This is a full-time Claims Handler role with a hybrid work arrangement, based in the Greater Cheshire West area, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Claims Handler will manage non-fault motor claims from first notification of loss through to resolution, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and empathetic experience for customers.   • Liaising with drivers, insurers, repair centres, and legal partners
  • Maintaining accurate records in internal systems

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Claims Handling and Claims Management to oversee cases from initiation to closure.
  • Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and active listening.
  • Experience with Insurance Claims and general Insurance processes, ideally within motor or personal injury contexts.
  • Good organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
  • Customer-focused skills, demonstrating empathy, professionalism, and resilience when dealing with distressed or upset drivers.
  • Relevant experience in claims, insurance, or legal support is beneficial, along with familiarity with claims management systems and basic IT proficiency.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; further education or industry qualifications (e.g., in insurance or claims management) are an advantage.
