Company Description

Taurus Risk Management is a directly FCA-regulated insurance brokerage based in the City of London. We work with UK businesses and private clients to implement effective insurance strategies that ensure key risks are properly protected at the right price. Our approach focuses on practical solutions that meet each client's specific requirements.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role based in the London area, with some flexibility to work from home.

The Claims Handler will be the go-to contact for our clients when they need to submit a claim, managing the process from first notification through to settlement and ensuring clients are properly supported and kept informed at every stage.

You'll work predominantly across commercial property and casualty claims, managing each one proactively, liaising with insurers and loss adjusters, and pushing for fair, prompt outcomes. The role also includes producing quarterly claims reporting for certain clients, so accuracy, attention to detail, and clear presentation of claims data are essential. The claims service is central to what we deliver at Taurus, and this role carries real ownership of it.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
