The team manages replacement of a wide range of contents, personal possessions, and gadgets, from carpets and jewellery to IT equipment, smartphones, TVs, fridges, and audio systems.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Cannock, with a mix of office and home working. The Claims Handler (All Commodities) will manage end-to-end household insurance claims across a broad range of contents and personal possessions, ensuring accurate assessment, validation, and resolution.   • Reviewing claim documentation
  • Liaising with policyholders, insurers, and internal technical specialists
  • Arranging repairs or replacements in line with policy terms
  • Updating claim records in digital systems

  • Providing clear, empathetic communication to customers throughout the claims journey

The role involves contributing to continuous improvement of processes, supporting quality assurance activities, and upholding regulatory and company standards.

Qualifications

  • Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to explain decisions clearly, manage expectations, and handle challenging conversations professionally.
  • Attention to detail, numeracy, and the ability to interpret reports, invoices, and supporting evidence accurately.
  • Comfort with digital tools and claims systems, including data entry, case management software, and standard office applications.
  • Proactive, organized approach, with the ability to manage a varied caseload, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Customer-focused mindset, demonstrating empathy, fairness, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
