Claims Insurer Relationship Manager
We're looking for a highly motivated Claims Insurer Relationship Manager to play a pivotal role within our national Claims structure. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced insurance professional to lead relationships with insurer claims teams, drive service excellence, and help enhance the claims journey for our commercial motor and enterprise clients.
The role focuses on ensuring service levels (SLAs) are met and flagging where they are not, promoting the everywhen "claims proposition" with the insurer claims teams to raise the profile of our business, regularly linking with everywhen colleagues to source feedback on insurer performance. Collaboration with the Head of Specialist Claims and Insurer Relations, and the wider Claims team, is essential. They will ensure the delivery of detail required to provide a proactive, efficient, and effective claims service.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own the day-to-day relationships with our key insurer partners claims teams – this may include central relationship contacts and team leaders within the insurer claims operation.
- Oversee the continued oversight of insurer performance – this may include but is not limited to the tracking of SLAs, increasingly monitoring data to proactively escalate likely issues before they surface and working across our claims teams to gain feedback and insight on insurer performance, that is then constructively shared with the insurer partners.
- Oversee Insurer claims portal access requirements and monitor usage with the Category leaders, ensure compliance/governance of access for joiner and leavers.
- Work closely with the everywhen National Technical Claims Lead and the Operations & Transformation Lead to ensure feedback is shared.
- Act as an escalation point for Category Leads and Insurers regarding any concerns raised. Liaising with the necessary party, you will assist to resolve any concerns raised.

What We're Looking For
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with teams and stakeholders across the business
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Detailed knowledge of all general classes of insurance.
- Ability to read, understand & interpret policy wordings
- Confident to challenge insurers on the interpretation of their own policies and apply it to claims.
- Ability to manage expectations in a professional manner.
- Strong communicator, including negotiation, contracting, consultancy, facilitation, influencing, presentation, and communication skills
- Experience of working in environments which occasionally have ambiguity
- Experience of managing client relationships
