About Wrisk

Wrisk is a leading insurtech empowering automotive brands to offer flexible, modern insurance solutions directly to their customers. Operating as a regulated Managing General Agent (MGA) in the UK, Wrisk combines cutting-edge technology, user-centric design, and insurance expertise to deliver seamless customer journeys. We partner with global automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), capacity providers, and third-party supply chain networks to reshape how automotive insurance is sold and serviced.

The Role at a Glance

The Claims Manager will lead Wrisk’s UK Claims proposition, taking full operational ownership of our claims ecosystem. This pivotal role is the bridge between our external third-party administrators (TPAs), supply chain partners, capacity providers and internal teams.

Internally, you will drive claims strategy, helping to protect loss ratios and feeding actionable claims intelligence into pricing and product design. Externally, you will deliver robust governance over outsourced claims partners, ensuring high commercial value, strict regulatory compliance, and exceptional customer outcomes in line with OEM partners’ brand standards.

What You’ll Do

Claims Oversight & TPA Governance

  • Oversee and manage the end-to-end claims value chain for UK programs, maintaining direct governance over fault and non-fault partners
  • Establish, monitor, and enforce strong TPA governance frameworks, including claims authority limits, contractual SLAs/KPIs, loss leakage controls and technical quality audits
  • Collaborate with TPAs, capacity partners and our internal Insights team to build comprehensive claims reporting suites. Analyse data to track loss trends, identify bottlenecks and drive indemnity cost-containment
  • Serve as the primary operational point of contact for insurer claims audits and facilitate seamless communication between capacity providers, suppliers and internal teams.

Regulatory Compliance & Conduct Risk

  • Ensure claims practices, internal or via TPA’s, adhere strictly to FCA guidelines, with explicit embedding of FCA Consumer Duty standards across customer touchpoints
  • Monitor market and legal developments (e.g. technology solutions, UKGI claims regulations) to ensure Wrisk’s ecosystem remains compliant and forward-thinking
  • Oversee high-stakes, litigated, or complex claims in collaboration with capacity providers and legal counsel.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
