The Team
Join our Customer Claims team, where helping people is at the heart of everything we do. Our team supports customers through important moments, providing reassurance, guidance and practical solutions when they need us most.
You'll work alongside supportive colleagues who are committed to delivering great customer outcomes and creating a positive team environment where everyone can learn and succeed.
What You Can Expect In This Role
- You’ll play a key role in supporting customers throughout their claims journey, providing excellent service and guidance every step of the way
- You’ll work closely with colleagues across the claims team, helping to resolve customer queries and deliver positive outcomes
- You’ll contribute to maintaining high standards of customer service, quality and regulatory compliance, focusing on collaboration and continuous improvement
- You’ll have opportunities to learn, develop and grow within the role through structured training and ongoing support
- You’ll be supported by experienced colleagues and leaders who want you to succeed
- You’ll build and maintain strong customer relationships through telephone, email and other communication channels
- You’ll make informed decisions in a dynamic environment while identifying potential fraud risks and taking appropriate action

Our dedicated Learning & Development team will give you all the training you need, and our supportive leadership team will be there to guide and encourage you every step of the way. All we ask is that you have a genuine passion for helping customers.
This role is based on-site at our Halifax office. We believe that working together in person enhances collaboration, engagement and supports your growth and development, giving you the opportunity to learn from experienced colleagues and build strong relationships across the team.
Working Pattern
Typical working hours are 8.45am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday morning working.

- Experience or interest in customer service, claims handling or supporting customers in a fast-paced environment
- Skills in verbal and written communication, with a willingness to learn and ask questions
- A collaborative approach and the confidence to share ideas
- An organised, thoughtful way of working with strong attention to detail
- The ability to build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-focused solutions
- A compassionate and empathetic approach when supporting customers through difficult situations
- The ability to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and adapt to changing demands
