Claims Manager – Uninsured Loss Recovery

📍 Blisworth
💷 £37,500–£45,000 + benefits package worth 15%
📄 Minimum 12-month contract

The opportunity

We are recruiting a Claims Manager for a thriving, financially strong legal business with an established position in loss recovery. Its uninsured loss recovery division is highly regarded across the UK business and plays an important role in its continued performance. You will manage a small, office-based team, act as the technical referral point and serve as the key technical contact for major clients.

What you’ll do

  • Lead, support and develop a small claims team
  • Manage the team’s performance, quality and service delivery
  • Handle technical referrals on complex uninsured loss recovery matters
  • Guide major clients through the recovery process
  • Build effective relationships with key client contacts
  • Use performance data and management information to improve outcomes
  • Work with colleagues to strengthen processes and client service

What you’ll bring

  • Strong technical knowledge of uninsured loss recovery for large Clients
  • Experience managing clients through the recovery process
  • Previous experience managing a small team
  • Confidence handling technical referrals and advising major clients
  • Clear communication and sound commercial judgement
  • An organised, modern and data-led approach
  • Flexibility for travel once or twice a month for Meetings with clients and other offices
  • Access to a car, and a clean driving licence.

You will be based in a modern, vibrant office in Northamptonshire, with access to the technology, systems and data needed to work effectively. The business is switched-on, sophisticated and committed to evidence-led decision-making and modern ways of working. You will be in the office 3 days a week, with some hybrid working from home, and travel to meet clients and other offices.
