We have a fantastic opportunity for a Claims Handler in Glasgow. Are you experienced in claims handling, the construction industry, or customer service? We have an excellent opportunity for you!
You will oversee a repair-based portfolio, managing the repair progress on our in-house claims system. Your responsibilities will include:
- Setting up and updating records
- Proactively managing repair timelines
- Ensuring timely completion of repairs with exceptional customer service
- Familiarity with schedules of work is a plus
You will liaise with customers, contractors, and clients, ensuring smooth communication and efficient repair processes.
Whether working from home or in our bright, collaborative office, you'll be part of a supportive team. We offer comprehensive training to develop your skills, and the chance to earn a prestigious industry qualification (Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters' Cert CILA).

The skills you will have when you apply:
- Experience in a customer service office environment, not necessarily claims handling
- Excellent communication skills: You'll speak with and write to policyholders, insurers, contractors, and more. You’ll explain complex details clearly, and negotiate fair settlements for all.
- Prioritisation: Ability to prioritise your workload and identify urgent tasks
- A commitment to work towards the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters' Cert CILA qualification
