Role Summary and Purpose
The Claims Vendor Team Administrator will support the Claims Vendor Manager, Claims Vendor Team, and wider Claims Operations Team in the administrative tasks relating to the procurement and monitoring of appropriate vendors for our London Market and Regional claims teams. Vendors will include third party administrators, coverholders, and medical assistance companies.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
The post holder would have responsibility for the following aspects and may also take part in varied projects:

Due diligence of claims vendors
- Requesting and gathering evidence to support due diligence exercises.
- Working with other teams in the organisation to co-ordinate their review of due diligence materials.
- Evidencing due diligence and ongoing governance activity through data entry onto various databases.

Monitoring service provided by claims vendors
- Gathering and recording evidence to monitor vendor performance against agreed service levels.
- Obtaining and recording feedback on the performance of vendors from our claims teams.
- Assisting the Claims Vendor Team in ensuring compliance with all regulatory and internal control requirements relating to claims handling and the management of third party outsourcing arrangements.
- Ensuring that all data gathered has been correctly and appropriately recorded in the various systems or spreadsheets as appropriate.
- Supporting the Claims Operations Team by assisting with the administrative tasks generated as a result of the TPA audit program.

Monitoring risks and controls
- Checking that correct evidence is being gathered and stored.
- Liaising with various auditors to provide evidence.

Claims Strategy
- Involved in the general delivery of the team's business goals and objectives.
- Involvement with ad-hoc projects which relate to vendor management or associated activities.
- Assist with enhancing the Arch brand.

Management support
- Taking minutes at internal and external meetings, and coordinating the completion of actions
- Supporting the Claims Vendor Manager & Claims Operations Manager in any ad-hoc tasks when required

Qualifications
- Good passes in Maths and English at GCSE level
- A-levels desirable but not essential
Experience
- Previous experience supporting a team and within an office environment
- Data entry using various systems
- Experience within insurance, and specifically a Lloyd’s managing agency, is a definite benefit
- Good understanding of the claims handling process is advantageous
