Job Title

Hourly rate: £19.10

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday (45 hours per week/Overtime available)

About the Role

An ADR Driver is responsible for safely transporting and collecting hazardous or dangerous goods in line with ADR regulations and company procedures. The role also involves carrying out vehicle checks, completing required paperwork, securing loads safely and ensuring all collections and deliveries are completed safely and on time.

Requirements

  • Hold a valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
  • Hold a valid Driver CPC qualification.
  • Hold a valid Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Hold a valid ADR qualification covering the relevant classes of dangerous goods.
  • Previous experience driving commercial vehicles.
  • Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
  • Strong awareness of the requirements involved in transporting hazardous/dangerous goods.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to complete vehicle checks and report defects appropriately.
  • Reliable, punctual and professional approach to work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
