Temp Station are currently recruiting Class 1 container drivers on Days & Nights for our client based in Southampton (SO15).
About the Company
Our client is a national logistics company with many sites across the UK.
Job Role
The successful candidates will be required to use a skeleton trailer to collect containers and deliver them to customers, making 1-3 deliveries a day, which may also include trailer swaps.
- Consistently exceed client expectations.
- Meet the client's operational standards.
- Collect and drop boxes safely and securely.
- Follow the client's policies and procedures.
- Adhere to driver rules and regulations.
- Complete the relevant paperwork.
- Comply with security regulations.
- Ensure uniforms are clean and neat.
- Keep vehicles used in a clean and tidy condition.
- Carry out any other relevant duties required by the line manager at the depot to ensure effective performance.

Driver Requirements

- Must have a Category C+E Licence.
- 6 months class 1 containers experience preferred, though not essential as training packages can be provided for the right candidates.
- CPC and Digi card.
- Full PPE.
- Provide a high level of customer service skills.
- Clean uniforms. Hi Viz and company logo uniform can be provided at no cost.
- No more than 6 points on licence.
Pay
- Days PAYE - £17.50 - £19.61.
- Nights PAYE - £18.50 - £20.73.
