We’re currently hiring Class 1 Drivers with flexible shift options to suit your lifestyle. We have flexible start time options across the 24-hour working day.

Join our team at Iceland Foods – Livingston site and be part of a supportive and dynamic workplace. You’ll be working a flexible hours shift pattern (morning, afternoons or nights including) on a 50-hour per week contract. Shifts will be rotating between Sunday to Thursday and Monday to Friday, with only two Saturdays required per month.

Pay

  • An annual salary of £44,200
  • Bank holidays or overtime rate £24.28 per hour

Additional pay

  • £1.80 per hour for hours worked between 06:00 and 07:00, applicable to employees whose shift starts between 04:00 and 07:00
  • £2.71 per hour for hours worked between 18:00 and 22:00
  • £3.36 per hour for hours worked between 22:00 and 06:00

What you’ll do on a typical day

  • Deliver multi-temperature goods to Iceland stores on a multi-drop route, handling cages and pallets safely and efficiently
  • Support with loading and unloading, and make sure empty cages and pallets are returned to the site
  • Work independently and as part of a team to quickly resolve any delivery issues that come up
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with store staff and following all company policies and procedures

What you need to succeed at GXO

  • A full UK driving licence with C+E entitlement
  • No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements
  • Commitment to safety and compliance with driving regulations
