HGV Class 1 (CE) Driver – Knowsley
£17.55ph – £29.63ph | Weekly Pay | Block Bookings | Knowsley
StaffCo Direct is recruiting HGV Class 1 (CE) drivers for ongoing Store delivery work in Knowsley. We're looking for professional and motivated drivers for both AM and PM shifts, with immediate starts available. This is a well-organised operation offering consistent weekly bookings, and opportunities for full-time positions.
Pay Rates (PAYE)
- Monday – Friday AM: £17.55ph plus holiday pay, or £19.66ph including holiday pay
- Saturday & Sunday AM: £23.40ph plus holiday pay, or £26.22ph including holiday pay
- Monday – Thursday PM: £18.41ph plus holiday pay, or £22.22ph including holiday pay
- Saturday & Sunday PM: £24.55ph plus holiday pay, or £29.63ph including holiday pay

What the role involves
- Completing Store deliveries and trunking work, typically 1–3 drops per shift
- Shifts are typically 10–12 hours, with 8 hours guaranteed pay, including paid breaks
- Working Monday to Friday with additional weekend work available
- A paid 2-day assessment and induction is required before starting, followed by ongoing block booking opportunities and potential full-time positions
Start time 04:00 - 06:00 AM and 18.00 – 20.00
Our ideal candidate
- Holds a valid HGV Class 1 (CE) UK licence held for at least 6 months'
- Has a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Has no more than 6 penalty points (no IN, DR, DD or TT convictions)
- Has good communication skills and a professional attitude
- Is physically fit and well-presented
