About This Role
Are you a Class 1 Driver looking for a new opportunity, or an experienced HGV Driver ready for a fresh challenge? If you enjoy being out on the road, take pride in delivering excellent customer service and want to work with one of the UK's leading truck and trailer rental businesses, this could be exactly what you've been looking for.
- Deliver and collect trucks and trailers between customer sites, Dawsongroup locations and workshop facilities.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks, report defects promptly and ensure every journey is completed safely and professionally.
- Present vehicles for MOT, assist with vehicle movements across site and help maintain a secure, organised yard.
- Support the wider team with a variety of tasks including vehicle preparation, cleaning, check in and check out activities, and other operational duties when required.

- Hold a valid UK Class 1 (LGV/HGV) driving licence and Driver Qualification Card.
- Work safely, responsibly and always within driver hours and road transport regulations.
- Confident completing basic paperwork and communicating clearly with colleagues and customers.
- Friendly, professional and flexible, with a positive approach to different vehicles, journeys and daily priorities.
