We are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a busy and well-established distribution operation based in Port Sunlight. This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for consistent, ongoing work with excellent pay rates across days, nights, and weekends.
The Role
As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for efficient and safe delivery of goods across the UK, working as part of a professional logistics operation.
Duties include:
- Completing store deliveries and/or trunking work to regional distribution centres
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed on time and to company standards
- Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Managing delivery paperwork and PODs accurately
- Following all driving hours, WTD, and road safety regulations
- Providing a professional and courteous service when interacting with customers or site teams
- Ensuring loads are secure and transported safely at all times

The role can involve a mix of RDC work, trunking, and store deliveries, depending on shift and operation, offering variety across the week.
Pay Rates
Days:
£15.00 per hour (£16.81 with holiday pay)
Nights:
£16.50 per hour (£18.49 with holiday pay)
Saturday:
£20.00 per hour (£22.41 with holiday pay)
Sunday:
£20.50 per hour (£22.97 with holiday pay)
What We're Looking For
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card
- Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred
- Good understanding of UK driving laws and regulations
- Reliable, flexible, and professional attitude
