About This Role

Are you a Class 1 Driver, HGV Driver or LGV Driver looking for your next opportunity? As a Class 1 Driver with Dawsongroup Truck & Trailer, you will play an important role in keeping our rental operation moving, delivering and collecting vehicles while providing a professional service to our customers.

  • Deliver and collect vehicles from customer sites, Company branches and workshop premises.
  • Present vehicles for MOT and assist with parking equipment securely in the correct areas.
  • Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
  • Clean vehicles inside and out to the required Company standard.
  • Support with other duties when required, including check in and check outs, office duties and transporting colleagues or guests.

About You

You will hold a current, valid UK LGV/HGV Class 1 driving licence and Driver Qualification Card, alongside a safe and responsible approach to driving. We are looking for someone polite, professional and flexible, who can adapt to varied journeys, vehicles and customer interactions.
