Class 1 Driver
Location: Woking, GU21 3BA
Hourly Rate: £22.41 - 25.53 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary, ongoing
Working Hours: Various shifts available

What you'll be doing
- Safely operate Class 1 vehicle on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery locations.
- Transport mail, parcels and freight efficiently while meeting delivery schedules.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company procedures.
- Load and unload vehicles safely while ensuring the security of all goods.
- Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
- Work independently while maintaining excellent communication with the wider operations team.
- Follow all road transport legislation, health and safety regulations and company policies.

What we're looking for
- Valid UK C+E driving licence.
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- No more than five penalty points and no serious driving endorsements.
- 2 years previous HGV driving experience within a logistics or distribution environment.
- Strong understanding of UK road transport legislation and vehicle safety.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
