At Gist, part of the M&S Group, we're looking for experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join our team in Hemel helping keep M&S stores supplied every day.
You'll benefit from a modern fleet, reliable work and a supportive transport team, along with the benefits of being part of the wider M&S family.
The role at a glance
- £24.37 basic per hour
- £29.24 per hour Sat and Sun - (Days)
- £31.68 per hour Sat and Sun - (Nights)
- Location: Hemel
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Rota: Fri - Tues
- Start times: Between 00:00 - 02:00
- Experience: Minimum 18 months' Class 1 driving experience
Additional shift premiums may apply depending on your working pattern.

As a Class 1 Driver, you'll play an important role in keeping M&S stores moving and ensuring products reach stores safely, efficiently and on time.
Your Day-to-day Responsibilities Will Include
- Completing planned deliveries to M&S stores
- Carrying out vehicle and safety checks
- Completing all relevant delivery paperwork
- Working safely and efficiently to planned schedules
- Maintaining regular communication with the transport team throughout your shift
- Representing Gist and M&S professionally on the road and at stores

What we're looking for
You'll Need
- A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- A minimum of 18 months' Class 1 driving experience
- Valid Driver CPC
- A driving record that meets our internal safety and compliance standards
- A professional and safety-focused approach
- A reliable, team-focused attitude
- Confidence with manual handling where required
