About This Role
Are you a Class 1 Driver, HGV Driver or LGV Driver looking for a role where no two days are quite the same? As a Class 1 Driver with Dawsongroup Truck and Trailer, you'll be trusted to represent our business, delivering and collecting a wide range of commercial vehicles while providing a professional service that keeps our customers moving.
- Deliver and collect commercial vehicles between customer sites, Company branches and workshops.
- Present vehicles for MOT, complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
- Help maintain our fleet by cleaning vehicles, parking equipment safely and supporting vehicle check in and check out activities.
- Support the wider team with a variety of tasks, including occasional driving duties and operational assistance when required.
- Be the friendly face of Dawsongroup, delivering outstanding customer service wherever you go.
About You
You'll take pride in your work, enjoy being out on the road and understand the importance of safety, professionalism and looking after every vehicle as if it were your own. If you've driven commercially before but don't feel you meet every requirement, we'd still encourage you to apply because attitude, reliability and potential matter just as much.

- Hold a valid UK Class 1 (LGV/HGV) driving licence and Driver Qualification Card (must have)
- Work safely and confidently within drivers' hours and road transport regulations.
- Be comfortable completing basic paperwork and vehicle documentation.
- Take pride in presenting yourself and our vehicles professionally.
- Bring a flexible approach, as every day can involve different routes, customers and vehicles.
