Day Work & Nights-Out Opportunities Available
Start Date: November 2026
An exciting opportunity has become available to join a successful, award-winning recycling business as they continue to grow and expand their fleet.
They are looking for reliable and professional Class 1 HGV Drivers to become part of their team. With a choice of day work or routes involving up to four nights out per week, there are opportunities available to suit different working preferences.
Successful candidates will be joining an established recycling operation offering stable, varied work, competitive rates of pay and UK-wide driving.
The Role
- Monday to Friday working, with Saturdays on a rota basis.
- Choice of day-driving roles or nights-out work, depending on availability.
- Nights-out positions may involve up to four nights away per week.
- A varied mix of local and long-distance routes across the UK.
- Deliveries to landfill sites and Energy-from-Waste (EfW) power stations.
- Walking floor trailer work.
- Previous walking floor experience is an advantage, although training can be provided for the right candidate.
- Competitive rates of pay with additional incentives.

What They're Looking For
The business is looking for drivers who take pride in their work and can represent this award-winning recycling business professionally while out on the road and visiting customer sites.
Successful candidates will need:
- A valid Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence.
- A reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach.
- Willingness to undertake landfill work when required.
- Flexibility to work Saturdays as part of a rota.
- For nights-out roles, the ability to stay away for up to four nights per week.
- Walking floor experience is desirable but not essential.
