Salary: GBP52k - GBP60k on average

Job Type: Contract - Ongoing Shifts
Shift Availability:
- Friday to Tuesday
- Saturday to Wednesday
Shift Patterns:
- PM Shifts Monday to Friday: 16:00 - 18:00 starts
- Night Shifts Monday to Friday: 21:00 - 23:30 starts
- Early Morning Shifts: 00:00 - 03:00 starts
- 7 day a week operation
The Role
Driver Resource is currently seeking Class 1 Drivers (HGV/LGV) for an ongoing basis for RXO on the Costco contract based at Crick, Northamptonshire.
Duties:
- 1:2 trunks per day to Costco stores
- Possible collection on return from one of their suppliers
- Purely a driving role; vehicle is security padlocked and opened by store staff at the destination
- Assistance with loading only at one of the client's customers
- All other sites load the vehicle themselves

Hours:
- Average hours: 10:12 hours per day
- Weekday shifts may be longer during busy periods
- Weekend shifts can be shorter
- Minimum of 8 hours
This is a 7 day a week, 52 week a year operation.
Availability:
- Availability taken the week prior
- Shift times texted out daily by 9:00/9:30am the day before
- Contract does not employ permanent staff; all Class 1 Drivers (HGV/LGV) are supplied through the agency
Extra Info:
- Yearly driver bonus recognition scheme for all Class 1 Drivers (HGV/LGV)
- Paid annually at Christmas
To Qualify For This
- Minimum of 15 shifts in a calendar month
- Zero No Shows (failure to attend a confirmed shift)
- Zero tachograph infringements covering Driving Hours and WTD
- No avoidable accidents or injuries
- No camera activations showing:
- Late Response
- Near Collision
- Following time less than 4 seconds
- Hitting the curb
- Red light violations
- Handheld mobile device usage
- Smoking in the cab
- Speeding
- Not wearing a seatbelt
- Drivers who complete 12 months service and remain employed in December, while meeting all qualifying criteria, will receive GBP600 in high street vouchers.

Requirements
Due to insurance reasons, we cannot accept applications from:
- Drivers under the age of 21
- Drivers with more than 6 points on their licence
- DR or IN conviction codes
Drivers Must Possess The Following:
- Class 1 Driving Licence
- Minimum 6 months relevant experience
- Digital Tacho Card
- Driver Qualification Card (CPC)
- No more than 6 points on licence
