Grafters Recruit Ltd are the proud partner of Matalan for the ongoing recruitment of class 1 AM Drivers at their Corby depot.
BENEFITS:

DUTIES:
- Start times available between 04:00-06:00 am
- LONG SHIFTS between 12-15 hours with potential nights out
- 2 to 3 drops per day from Corby delivering to locations throughout the country
- Required to move cages and hanging garments to the rear of the trailer at each store
- Empty cages and recycling will also be collected from each store
- 45 MIN DEDUCTION FOR BREAKS
Each driver will be required to pass an assessment prior to being given a full induction and training for the role. This will be split over 2 days:

- The first day, you will be required to do a written test with questions. You will also be given the chance to show them you can manoeuvre easily around the yard.
- The second day will require you to go out on the road with a permanent Matalan driver.
Both of these days will be paid if you pass the first day assessment.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Valid C+E category on your driving licence, held for 2 years plus (insurance purposes)
- Minimum 2-year driving experience
- No more than 6 penalty points on licence
- Valid driver CPC qualified
- Valid digi Tacho Card
Pay rates as follows:

Monday to Friday Days - £20.18

Monday to Friday Nights - £21.47

Saturday - £21.05

Sunday - £24.98
-
Night out - £32
-
Any driver starting post 04:00 is night rate all shift

Driver starting 04:00 onwards will be night rate until 06:00 then day rate for the rest of that shift

18:00 starts are night rate all shift
