This is a challenging but rewarding role that offers variety, stability, and the satisfaction of being home every night. Most of your driving will take place within Northern Ireland, allowing you to build strong relationships with our store teams while enjoying the consistency of local routes and no overnight stays. Every day brings new journeys and the pride of knowing your work helps keep shelves stocked and communities served.
You’ll take pride in the presentation and performance of your vehicle, carrying out daily safety checks, maintaining cleanliness, and handling goods with care to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. Customer service sits at the heart of what you do, you’ll be the face of Henderson Wholesale on the road, representing our brand with professionalism, courtesy, and reliability.

What You’ll Need to Succeed
Essential Criteria:
- Hold a current LGV Group C+E licence
- Possess a valid, in date Driver Qualification Card (CPC up to date)
- Possess a Digital Tachograph Card
- Have a good knowledge of the Northern Ireland road network
- Able to deliver outstanding Customer Service

Desirable Criteria:
- Relevant driving experience
- Multi-drop delivery experience
- A good knowledge of vehicle refrigeration
- A good knowledge of tail lift operation
- Understanding of Driving Regulations and Working Time Legislation
Hours and Days of Work
We have part-time opportunities available for candidates who can work between 1 and 4 days per week across the stated days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. There are also various full-time positions working a core contract of 38 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, likely to be Sunday–Thursday (6th day working required every other Friday) or Tuesday-Saturday (6th day working required every other Monday).
Start times will depend on which shift you are successful for. We have a mixture of day shifts, evening/night shifts positions available.
Shortlisted candidates will have the opportunity to discuss working hours at interview.
Please note: All driving is within Northern Ireland – no overnights, no UK mainland work. Shortlisted candidates will have the opportunity to discuss the shift patterns at interview.
