HGV Class 1 (CE) Driver – Thrapston & Islip
£17.45 – £40.84 per hour + accrued holiday pay | PAYE

StaffCo Direct is currently recruiting HGV Class 1 (CE) Drivers for ongoing store delivery and trunking work based in Thrapston and Islip.
This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers looking for regular weekly work, competitive PAYE rates and the potential for full-time positions.
Pay Rates – PAYE
- Monday–Friday AM: £17.45 per hour + accrued holiday pay
- Monday–Friday PM: £19.20 per hour + accrued holiday pay
- Monday–Friday Nights: £20.94 per hour + accrued holiday pay
- Saturday–Sunday AM: £22.68 per hour + accrued holiday pay
- Saturday–Sunday PM: £24.95 per hour + accrued holiday pay
- Saturday–Sunday Nights: £27.22 per hour + accrued holiday pay
- Overtime: Up to £40.84 per hour

The Role
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be carrying out store deliveries and trunking work.
- Typically 1–3 drops per shift
- Shifts generally 10–12 hours, including paid breaks
- AM, afternoon and night shifts available
- Start times available around the clock
- Ongoing block bookings available
- Before starting, you will complete a paid 1-day assessment/induction if successful

About You
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A valid UK HGV Class 1 (CE) licence
- Valid CPC qualification
- Valid Digital Tachograph card
- No more than 6 penalty points
- No IN, DR, DD or TT convictions
- Good communication skills
- A professional and reliable attitude
- To be physically fit and well-presented
