Class 1 Driver
Here at HireGiant, we are currently looking for experienced Class 1 Drivers to join our well-established logistics client based in Coventry. This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable and professional drivers to secure ongoing work with one of the UK's most respected distribution companies.
The Role:
As a Class 1 Driver, you'll be responsible for:
- Trailer drops & swaps to ports across the UK
- Maintaining accurate paperwork and PODs
- Performing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
- Ensuring loads are transported safely and efficiently

Hours & Pay:
- Start times: Between 18:00pm and 21:00pm
- Shift length: 10-14 hours (Monday to Friday)
- Pay rate: £20.00 - £21.00 per hour (PAYE)
- Weekly pay, every Friday
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (Cat C+E) Licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Fridge trailer experience essential
- 2 years, and no more than 6 points on licence (no DR, DD, or IN)
- Safety boots and high-vis required
