Class 1 DRIVER
Monday–Friday | Ongoing Work | Doncaster
PAYE RATES for Class 1:
£20.60 inc. holiday (£18.39 + holiday pay)
Proman UK, acting as an Employment Business, is currently recruiting experienced Class 1 HGV / LGV C+E Drivers to support our client based in Doncaster DN6 area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established distribution operation delivering products to retail outlets across the UK.
CLASS 1 HGV / LGV C+E DRIVER
Role Overview for Class 1:
- You will be responsible for bulk collections and deliveries of pharmaceutical goods across various sites nationwide.
- Work may involve trailer swaps or live load/unload depending on customer requirements.
- Occasional nights out will be part of the job (maximum up to 2 nights per week, but not on a regular occasion, only if required).

Class 1 Driver Shift Pattern
- Start times between 04:00 – 08:00.
- Average shift length around 10 hours.
- Regular ongoing work Monday to Friday.
- Required availability for 2 night out per week if needed.
PAYE RATES for Class 1:
£20.60 inc. holiday (£18.39 + holiday pay)
Night-out allowance: £38.60 per night
Immediate starts available following a successful driving assessment.
REQUIREMENTS
- Candidates must have:
- Valid Class 1 - category C+E licence for HGV class 1 drivers
- Valid class 2 - category C licence for HGV class 2 drivers
- No more than 6 penalty points (no DD / DR / TT / IN endorsements)
- Valid Tacho & CPC cards
- Minimum 12 months continuous Class 1/Class 2 experience (tachograph history required)
