HGV Class 1 Drivers Wanted! Join our bakery Transport Team!
Location: Eastwood, NG16.
JT Recruit are currently looking to recruit double deck trained HGV Class 1 Drivers on behalf of our client based in Eastwood.
The role will be to deliver fresh quality bakery products to locations across your assigned route for that day. You will have responsibility for the company vehicle, as well as being responsible for the brand image when delivering to the customers. Our client's ethos is quite simply to deliver fresh products on time, keeping quality, safety, and customer service at the forefront of every decision.

A flavour of the Role:
- Runs operate between 03.00 - 20.00 (at drivers preferred time).
- Shifts length between 10 and 12 hours.
- Shifts run 7 days a week including weekends.
- Using the latest technology with modern vehicles.
- Trunking work no multidrop.
- Handball you will need to be able to push cages down the trailer.
- Long term ongoing work.
Essential Ingredients:
- Full UK Licence, CPC & Tacho Card.
- Maximum 6 points for minor offences.
- A good knowledge of Transport Legislation and Tachographs.
- Excellent customer facing skills.
- A history of being reliable, punctual and dependable.

Rates of Pay:
- £13.55 Standard Days - £20.32 Day Overtime.
- £15.92 Standard Nights - £23.88 Night Overtime.
- £20.32 Saturday Day - £23.88 Saturday Night.
- £27.09 Sunday Day - £31.84 Sunday Night
- £40.64 Bank Holidays Days - £47.76 Bank Holiday Nights.
