Role: Class 1 Driver

Hours: Average of 12 hours per shift

We are recruiting Class 1 (Cat C+E) drivers to support trunking and primary distribution deliveries, transporting bakery products between depots and third-party customer sites. The role involves minimal manual handling and adheres to strict drivers’ hours and tachograph regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Driving a Class 1 vehicle along designated routes
  • Performing trunking deliveries between depots and customer sites
  • Conducting vehicle checks and maintaining accurate paperwork
  • Complying with all transport regulations, including tachograph records
  • Upholding health, safety, and security standards at all times

Requirements

To join our team, you must have:

  • A full UK Class 1 (Cat C+E) driving licence
  • A valid Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) and Digital Tacho Card
  • No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no endorsements for Dangerous/Discourteous Driving)
  • Preferred: prior HGV Class 1 experience
  • A reliable, professional attitude and strong commitment to timekeeping
