Job Title
Pay Rate: £36,930.69, plus overtime at 1.5x
Grade: RCS P
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 6am start.
Location: West Bromwich, B70 0EB
Are you an experienced Class 1 Driver looking for a Monday to Friday role with regular start times? Do you enjoy delivering excellent service while ensuring deliveries are completed safely and efficiently?
We're recruiting for a Class 1 (C+E) Driver based in West Bromwich. This role involves nationwide multi-drop deliveries of aluminium cable trunking, ensuring products are delivered safely, on time, and in line with company, customer, and legal requirements. Standard start time is 06:00 Monday to Friday, with overtime opportunities available.
A Typical Day May Involve
- Complete nationwide multi-drop deliveries of aluminium cable trunking to customer locations.
- Ensure deliveries are completed efficiently and within agreed service and KPI targets.
- Accurately complete all delivery paperwork and relevant documentation.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and promptly report any vehicle or trailer defects.
- Maintain compliance with Working Time Directive, DVLA requirements, and Health & Safety regulations.

This Role Would Suit People Who
- Hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) licence and have experience driving commercial vehicles. (Essential)
- Enjoy working independently while providing excellent customer service at delivery locations.
- Are organised and able to accurately complete delivery paperwork and records.
- Take pride in vehicle safety, compliance, and carrying out routine vehicle inspections.
- Are reliable, professional, and comfortable with nationwide multi-drop deliveries.
