LGV Class 1 Driver – E3 Warehouse, South Elmsall
We are looking for several LGV Class 1 Drivers to support our operations based out of our E3 warehouse in South Elmsall, Pontefract.
Salary & Compensation
- Base salary: £18.05 per hour
- Additional premium rates:
- Weekly overtime at x1.3 multiplier
- Weekend working at x1.5 multiplier
- Driver bonus scheme eligibility
What You’ll Be Responsible For
As part of our critical distribution operation, your key responsibilities will be:
- Transporting clothing and homeware products to our stores
- Maintaining a ‘Safety First’ mindset, putting the protection of yourself, colleagues, and the public above all else
- Working 5 days out of 7, including:
- 2 full weekends per 10-week shift pattern
- Additional weekend days in rotation
- Shifts run between 11:00–17:00, running a 45-hour weekly requirement
What We’re Looking For
To successfully fulfil this role, we require:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV license with a CPC card
- Minimum 1 year of experience driving LGVs, including:
- Coupling and uncoupling of trailers
- Maximum of 6 points on your driving licence
- No convictions or disqualifications (unspent and spent)

Training & Support
Successful candidates will receive:
- 2 days of training from our Driver Development Coach (DDC)
- Additional support from a dedicated manager outside of training

- Weekend rates (06:00–22:00):
- Saturday: £21.05/hour
- Sunday: £22.40/hour
- Night rates (22:00–06:00):
- Sunday–Thursday Night: £21.05/hour
- Friday Night: £22.40/hour
- Saturday Night: £25.40/hour
