We're now looking for a Class 1 HGV Driver to join our team and play a pivotal role in our fast-paced, high-performing logistics operation.
Responsibilities
- Champion safe and compliant driving standards at all times, putting safety first in every journey.
- Operate fully within Working Time Directive and EU Drivers' Hours regulations, ensuring legal and operational compliance.
- Stay connected with the transport team, maintaining clear and consistent communication throughout shifts.
- Adhere to all local legislation, as well as DHL policies and procedures, with a high level of accountability.
- Act as a brand ambassador for DHL, delivering a professional, customer-focused experience at every interaction.
- Conduct thorough and routine vehicle checks, ensuring roadworthiness and operational readiness.
- Safely handle and manage customer goods, including manual handling where required.
- Deliver and transport goods efficiently, meeting deadlines and service expectations.
- Commit to continuous development by completing regular training and driver assessments.

Requirements
- Valid HGV License C+E (Class 1)
- Driver CPC certification
- Ability to move product in line with H&S regulation
- Previous experience of driving an artic truck
- Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules
- Ability to read, understand and follow directions / instructions
- Knowledge of EU driving regulations and geographical area
