BE Recruitment are working with a well-established General Merchant company based in Coalville, Leicester, who are looking for high-quality Class 1 HGV Drivers to join their team on an ongoing basis.
- Pay Rate: £17.00 - £19.00 per hour This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced drivers looking for consistent, ongoing work, with the potential for a permanent contract.
The Role
Day-to-day duties will include:
- 1-2 national deliveries per day
- General haulage of palletised goods
- No handballing - all pallets are forklifted off
- Deliveries throughout the UK
- Professional and customer-focused service
Hours of Work
- Monday to Friday
- Start times between 6:00am and 8:00am
- Shifts typically 8-12 hours
- Saturday and Sunday work available at overtime rates
- Ongoing work with full-time hours available

Pay & Benefits
- £17.00 - £19.00 per hour
- Ongoing temporary position
- Full-time work available
- Opportunity for a permanent contract
- Holiday entitlement equivalent to 28 days per year
Role Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Relevant HGV driving experience
- Good knowledge of UK roads
- A professional and reliable attitude
- Safety shoes and hi-vis vest - mandatory PPE
