Driver Hire Coventry & Tamworth are currently recruiting for a Class 1 HGV Driver with a valid ADR Tanks & Packages qualification for a well-established client. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional and reliable driver looking for consistent Monday to Friday work.
Pay Rate
- Hourly: £18.27
- Annual: £40,375
Requirements
- Valid Category C+E (Class 1) driving licence
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Valid ADR Licence covering both Tanks and Packages
- Good understanding of driver hours and working time regulations
- Professional and customer-focused attitude

The Role
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, ongoing work
- Responsibilities:
- Delivering hazardous goods safely and efficiently in line with ADR regulations
- Operating vehicles carrying both tank and packaged products where required
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks
- Completing all relevant paperwork accurately
- Maintaining high standards of customer service at all delivery locations

What We’re Looking For
- Reliable and punctual drivers
- Previous Class 1 and ADR driving experience preferred
- Strong awareness of health and safety requirements
- Ability to work independently and represent Driver Hire and our client professionally
- A flexible and professional approach to work
