We are currently seeking experienced Class 1 (Cat C+E) drivers for immediate starts to work with several clients around Hailsham and surrounding area. We have days, nights, weekends, up to 10-12 hour shifts available.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles for the delivery of goods across the UK
  • Conduct thorough vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues
  • Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
  • Assist with loading and unloading as required
  • Communicate effectively with the transport team and customers

What We’re Looking For

  • Possession of a valid Full UK License
  • Hold Class 1 (Cat C+E) entitlement for at least 12 months.
  • Proof of Right to work in the UK (Birth Certificate or Passport)
  • Valid CPC & Digi Tacho Card
  • No DR10 endorsements on driving record
  • Flexibility around working hours, ability to work long shifts
  • Safety boots and Hi-vis
  • Reliability and strong work ethic
  • Good spoken and written English
  • Own vehicle to get to shifts or ability to travel to local train station
  • Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles, previous refrigeration or multi-drop experience is advantageous
  • HGV satnav
