Scunthorpe Area
Driver Hire Grimsby & Scunthorpe urgently requires an experienced Class 1 (Category CE) Driver for one of our established industrial customers in the Scunthorpe area.
An immediate start is available, and for the right driver there is the potential for this opportunity to develop into a permanent position with the customer.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Class 1 driver looking for regular work and the possibility of securing a long-term role.
The Role
Duties Will Include
- Class 1 driving on behalf of a major industrial business
- Delivering and collecting equipment and materials
- Local and regional deliveries
- Ensuring loads are transported safely and securely
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks
- Completing relevant delivery and transport paperwork
- Representing our customer professionally at delivery and collection points

What We’re Looking For
Applicants Should Have
- Valid Class 1 (Category CE) licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Class 1 driving experience
- Good knowledge of Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Regulations
- A professional and safety-conscious approach
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Reliability and a flexible approach to work
Previous experience within industrial, construction or similar transport environments would be particularly useful.
