Driver Hire is looking for Class 1 HGV Driver with HIAB certificate to join one of our valued clients based in East Grinstead. They will provide ADR training. Experience as a class 1 and HIAB is essential. It is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate (£45k+ annual salary)
The Role
- Monday to Friday – min 8 hours guaranteed
- Deliver large portable generators to sites including building projects, hospitals, and nursing homes
- Transport small fuel tanks
- Unload via Hook HIAB (certificate and experience essential)
- Deliveries range from 1–5 per day – no overnight stays or long shifts

Pay & Benefits
- Temp rate: £21/hour Umbrella rate
- Permanent OTE: £45k+
- 30 paid holidays (increasing year on year)
- Monday–Friday schedule
- Overtime at 1.5x, bank holidays and Sundays at 2x
- 9% pension (once permanent)
- 1 week on-call on a rolling rota (Call outs paid at 1.5x Pay)

About You
- Class 1 licence with 2+ years’ experience
- Up-to-date CPC, Tachograph, ADR is a plus
- HIAB qualification essential
- Tech-savvy and confident with Sat Navs
- Own transport to depot
- Live within 10 miles of East Grinstead
