Flintham Cabins Ltd has over 35 years of experience supplying ISO-standard containers and site accommodation units across London. The company supports a wide range of building trade projects, providing cabins and modular units tailored to specific site requirements. Its in-depth sector knowledge enables the team to deliver reliable, practical solutions that help customers run their sites efficiently and safely.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Class 1 HIAB Driver role based in Dunstable. The driver will be responsible for safely transporting and delivering ISO containers and site accommodation units to customer locations, operating the HIAB crane to load and unload units in line with site and safety requirements. The role also involves adhering to all road traffic and health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and roadworthy vehicle, and representing Flintham Cabins professionally on customer sites.

Qualifications

  • Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) driving license, Driver CPC, and a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience operating HIAB or similar lorry-mounted cranes, with relevant certification or training.
  • Strong knowledge of load securing, vehicle safety checks, and UK road transport regulations.
  • Ability to work safely on busy construction sites and follow health and safety procedures.
  • Good communication skills for coordinating with transport planners, site managers, and customers.
  • Reliable time management and the ability to plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
  • Physical capability to manage manual handling tasks associated with loading and unloading units.
  • Experience in the construction, logistics, or portable buildings sector is an advantage.
