About The Role

Manpower UK seeks a permanent Class 1 driver for its client’s Irlam site. This role involves operating powder tankers out of the local factory, delivering materials to construction projects across the UK. Full product training and PPE are supplied. The working pattern is Monday to Friday, with a standard 06:00 start and occasional Saturday mornings. A basic salary of £32,000 for a 40-hour week is offered, with mandatory overtime bringing typical earnings above £40,000 annually. Applicants must hold a valid Class 1 LGV licence and current Driver Qualification Card. The client operates nine national plants serving major building firms.

Contract - Permanent

Location: Irlam, Manchester

Working Hours: Monday- Friday, days regular, normal start time 6am and you will be required to work occasional Saturday mornings during busier periods

Our Client are pioneers within the UK construction industry, and are national, operating across a network of nine manufacturing plants and are used by the major construction companies in the UK on housing, industrial, educational and infrastructure projects.

You will be working out of the Irlam Factory driving Powder Tankers, all training given and PPE included.

You will be delivering to building sites.

Required

  • Class 1 LGV licence
  • Current Driver Qualification Card
  • Current Digital Tachograph Card
