HGV Class 1 Linehaul Driver
Location: Leicester, LE4
Shift: Late afternoons / Nights
Pay Rate: £17.50 £18.25 per hour + overtime
Job Type: Full-time, ongoing
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 Linehaul Drivers to join a busy and well-established operation based in Leicester (LE4).
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver looking for regular, ongoing work with competitive pay rates and overtime available.
The role will involve trunking/linehaul work between sites, with a focus on safe, efficient and reliable deliveries.

Key Responsibilities
- Driving a Class 1 HGV on planned linehaul/trunking routes
- Completing vehicle checks before and after shifts
- Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time
- Completing required delivery paperwork and electronic records
- Complying with drivers' hours, working time and road safety regulations
- Maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Valid Driver CPC
- Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience is a bonus
- A reliable and professional approach to work
- Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations
