Location: Northampton
Pay Rate: £20.68 per hour
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (Night Shift)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Class 1 HGV Driver to join our logistics team as a Night Shunter in Northampton. In this role, you will be responsible for moving trailers around the yard efficiently and safely, maintaining site flow, and supporting our nighttime warehouse operations.

- Safely moving Class 1 trailers between yard bays and loading docks.
- Carrying out daily pre-shift vehicle and equipment checks.
- Communicating effectively with the yard management and warehouse teams.
- Ensuring all site safety guidelines and speed limits are strictly adhered to.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year Class 1 (Category C+E) driving experience, or 1 year of relevant experience in retail driving.
- Licence: Full UK C+E Driving Licence with zero points (clean licence required).
- Certifications: Valid CPC card and Digital Tachograph card.
- Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working consistent night shifts.
